We Provide Shelter

To bring meaning in the lives of street children by providing various needs-based services to develop their inherent talent and re-integrate them back to society.

in the year 2003 some girl children visiting the Aasara Kurla Day Care Centre were in need of a shelter. Some of them were alone and the other were with a single parent. Looking at their plight and the vulnerable situation being girls on the street and open to sexual abuse, Aasara accommodated 4 of the most needy in a room near the boys shelter home at Digha, Navi Mumbai. Slowly there were a growing number of girls in need of a shelter and the rented room was not enough.
